Calliope S. Thomas

Calliope Thomas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was a self taught artist prior to attending Queens College in New York. Graduated in 1991 with a BA in Education and an Art Minor. Ms Thomas became an early childhood educator and chose to use her artistic talents with Kindergarteners. Now that she is retired, she concentrates on art full time. She is inspired by the dance of harmony in her life choosing oils, acrylics and pastels focusing mainly on landscape, still life and abstract works of art.  When Ms. Thomas is not painting, she enjoys cooking and entertaining, dining out, theatre, and playing with her pups outdoors.
